OK I’m a 68 yr old muso, hardly your target audience but can’t resist a reply. Good players, singing, arrangement, an overall good performance. Well done. But to me it suffers from the current fashions for 1/ repeating same simple melody for every line, 2/ constant energy throughout, little rise and fall, 3/ constant one word/syllable per beat and 4/ unadventurous guitar riffs. Perhaps fashion dictates that approach but it comes across to me as cut and paste laziness. Personally I think you have the quality to apply a little more thoughtfulness to lift it out of being just another indi song. (if indi is the right word. Shows what I know But keep up the good work. I’ve tried song writing and found it impossibly difficult so what do i know.
